PROGRAMME END CEMENT PROTESTE 2026
Welcome to the program!
Note that some things can change/will. In this list, however, the most up-to-date stand is always entered, just like (slightly slower) on site at the info tent.
Childcare is possible during the program points. Wednesdays without registration, otherwise we would like to leave a day before at post@end-cement.earth.
That's the legend. Except for some of the actions, everything takes place within the camp:

The End Cement Camp as a concrete utopia: A Photovoice Project
A better future can already be lived here and now. In this workshop, it is important to examine which daily experiences in the camp embody this better future. This is also about everyday obstacles that are in the way of reaching this future.
Tuesday, 11-11:30: Introduction Photovoice
Sunday: 11-12:15: Reflection workshop. Participation is also possible if you were not involved in the introduction on Tuesday.
Lecture: Degradation of gravel throughout the country – Resistance
14:00-15:00
More info
In the last five years, numerous forest occupations have been created against gravel degradation. Because gravel and sand are a foundation of the climate-damaging concrete industry and often destroy groundwater, forest and nature during degradation. The demand for gravel and sand increases exponentially, as it forms the basis for the new building of ever more short-lived houses and the compaction of the road network. What could be alternatives, what does pebbly recycling mean and how can the pebbles need be reduced to an acceptable level?
The resulting protest sites, the forest occupations, are understood as small social labs in which free trials can be made as a society without compulsion and oppression. How do we make decisions, how do we resolve conflicts when there are no kings and bosses? And how do we live justly without stealing resources in the Global South?
Functional living – Practical implementation of alternative living forms
17:00-18:30
More info
Functional living describes a kind of living together in which space is divided by function and not by property.
The two workshop leaders have been living together in a functional WG for 4 years. They tell you why this is a better living form for them than a "conventional WG" or a 1-2 room apartment. And how it looks practical, what challenges there are and what solutions they know.
There is room for questions and reflection, which is important to you in living.
Action training
16:30-21:00
Assembly tent
More info
In action training you will find everything important for disobedient actions – especially around climate-killing concrete heads. We answer questions like:
- What are actions civil disobedience
- What legal risks exist
- What do I need to consider
- What types can I participate
- What are the reference groups
- …
With lunch break, of course!
Film: “FROM MENSCHEN, THE BOOKINGS" film screening with post-conference with Samuel
20:00-21:30
More info
A film about climbing, self-empowerment and maximum effect. And over water and a lot of gravel.
The filmmakers: in the course of 18 months, the activists accompany the KlimaCamp in the Altdorfer Wald. Protest and civil disobedience in Oberschwaben are encountered by most of the Büger:inside, it is uncomprehension and open rejection, even when it comes to preserving the natural basis of life.
Now a new form of resistance is stimulated in climbing activism, but this is followed in a dishonest manner. Increasingly, the population recognizes that it is about gravel, drinking water and co-determination about the "Alti", which as a state forest actually belongs to all.
Wednesday, 15.4.

How do climate justice and climate justice work together? What social effects does climate change have? How can different left-progressive movements unite in the climate movement? And how do we manage to put climate protection back on the political agenda?
We want to follow these and other questions together in an exciting workshop.

Security is often located in the private: in living and children's rooms, in the womb, in the snail house. But what if it's a lot of political than we think?
Security plays an important role in our political work for the social-ecological transformation and can help us to be active and resistant in the long term. At the same time, we have to question them again and again critically because it is embedded in power relations and is often based on border draws and exclusions. The book tries to find a handful of answers to the question of how we can strengthen the transformative potential of security in activism and society without reproducing existing power conditions.

Lecture: "ZEMENT, WACHSTUM, GREENWASHING KLIMASTRATEGIEN IM REALITÄTSCHECK" Interactive talk with Dr. Rosalie Arendt
11:00-12:30
More info
The cement industry is one of the world's largest CO2 polluters and continues to focus on growth. In this interactive presentation, we take apart the climate strategy of Heidelberg Materials and ask: Is this serious climate protection or well-packed greenwashing?
We are analysing how the industry adheres to the principle of "building, building, building" and thus continues to drive increasing cement consumption. At the same time, it plays a central role in a political narrative: cement is presented as an example of "unavoidable residual emissions" and thus serves as a key argument for the legitimation of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
Instead of real transformation, both the industry and the decarbonization strategies of the EU focus on precisely these technological solutions: approaches that stabilize the fossil status quo rather than overcome it.
In the centre is a critical Deep Dive in the Norwegian Brevik plant and the Northern Lights project. Together, we are going to ask central questions: who benefits from this? Why do billions flow into these projects? Why is the cement industry working closely with the oil and gas industry? And what role does the Norwegian state play?
It becomes clear: CCS is not a climate changer, but part of the problem.
• The Brevik plant reduces only about 50 % of the emissions, and yet the cement is partially marketed as "closely climate-neutral".
• Over mass balance approaches "green" cement is sold, while real emissions continue to occur.
• In order to decarbonise the global cement industry, around 3,500 plants like Brevik need: a completely unrealistic scenario.
• CCS is a highly complex system of chemical plants, transport infrastructure (ships, pipelines), storage and injection drilling with long planning and implementation times.
Together we expose the narratives of industry, make the political and economic interests visible and discuss why this strategy is not a real response to the climate crisis.
The interactive presentation invites you to look critically, reveal contradictions and think about real alternatives, beyond growth, fossil dependencies and false promises.

Registered Artistic Demo.
Huch, Heidelberg Materials again called to an area emo. Apparently, under the motto "Green instead of Grey" it should be called against the left-greenideological anti-conceptorists. Instead, it should be made clear: concrete is the only hope we have.
Let's look at it together. 👀
- The (optional) dress code is black & gray.
- Apparently some concrete heads will be walking around there too.
Running demo. Follow more information.
Panel: GLOBALE KÄMPFE GEGEN DIE ZEMENTINDUSTRIE
Heidelberg Materials is everywhere, not only in Heidelberg. But the resistance also rises all over the world.
Together with Janty von Watch Indonesia, Saleh von Frente Polisario (West Sahara) and Karin von Medico Internationa, we want to look more closely and tell about the struggles that are being fought all over the world against the destructive machinations of heidelberg Materials.
Above all, it is about the question of how the various struggles around the world can be united and become an active global movement.

CREATIVE IN SOCIETY INTERVENIER Talk with Tobi Rosswog
14:00-15:30
More info
As we can be active media-effectively off demo, petition and co, activist, author, free lecturer and (co-)initiator of various campaigns and collectives Tobi Rosswog shows in this impulse presentation. In the beginning there is a brief analysis of why we systematically live at the expense of others, although we do not want to. On this basis, Tobi illuminates our possibilities to shape society together and make a difference in concrete struggles. Tobi draws alive examples from over 15 years of activism for "The Good Life for All". After that, time is to form bands together. And after the action comes the repression: How can billions of heavy corporations like VW and their star lawyers like Prof. Dr. Christian Schertz with her overcrowded SLAPP layers, Tobi will tell as entertaining and motivating as about the colorful action pictures.
