ZASTER AGAINST Cement
We start by against Heidelberg Materials
Hey,
Your neighbor, Heidelberg Materials, has a lot of dirt.
The group...
- is the Biggest climate killer Germany,
- violates human rights, e.g. Togo and Indonesia,
- breaks international law, e.g. Palestine and the Western Sahara, and
- refuses to commission an independent human rights report.
That is no longer acceptable.

That’s why we (people from Fridays For Future, Watch Indonesia, Workshop for Nonviolent Action, ...) joined forces to launch a campaign: It’s time to end cement!
In the next few months we will make a proper protest.
And our First objective: The City of Heidelberg may no longer accept sponsorship by Heidelberg Materials.
We need your help for that!

FAQ
What have you done so far?
Quite a lot.
On the Main page Under "Previous actions" you will find a small review of actions of the Alliance members.
But to create proper pressure, individual actions are not enough. That is why we have now come together for a coordinated campaign.
What has Heidelberg Materials responded to the demands so far?
On 16 May In May 2024, we presented Heidelberg Materials at their Annual General Meeting our demands and clearly a compensation fund and an independent report.
But instead of going into it It was only stressed, that we already respect human rights in principle and already have enough in mind internally. The compensation fund is also too much to ask for, after all, they are already renewing (no joke) zebra crossings in Bulgaria and are already doing enough for the local communities...
Since then, there has been no further response from Heidelberg Materials to the demands.
Therefore, we continue to collect signatures for a Open letter on this.
How do I know what happens to the money?
Quite simply. On the Mailing list You will get direct notice of all actions.
Better yet, I Open collective You can always see how much money was used for what. Fully transparent. (Unlike Heidelberg Materials)
How else can I support?
Every helping hand is needed. Really. Just write to them Contact details.
